- Tumacacori National Historical Park in the upper Santa Cruz River Valley of southern Arizona is comprised of the abandoned ruins of three ancient Spanish colonial missions.

- The Arizona Historical Society serves as the steward of state and regional history, fulfilling its mission to collect, preserve, interpret, and disseminate the history of Arizona
- Biosphere 2 is a center for research, outreach, teaching, and life-long learning about Earth and its living systems.
- El Charro Cafe, Established in 1922, El Charro is The Nation's Oldest Mexican Restaurant in continuous operation by the same family, featuring traditional Sonoran cultural style and innovative Tucson style Mexican Food
- Arizona - Sonora Desert Museum is a world-renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden, all in one place!
- Saguaro National Park Tucson, Arizona is home to the nation's largest cacti. The giant saguaro is the universal symbol of the American west. These majestic plants, found only in a small portion of the United States, are protected by Saguaro National Park, to the east and west of the modern city of Tucson. Here you have a chance to see these enormous cacti, silhouetted by the beauty of a magnificent desert sunset.
- Old Tucson Studios features film and TV shoots throughout the year and daily Wild West entertainment for the whole family.
- Mission San Xavier Del Bac was founded in 1692 by a Jesuit missionary, Father Eusebio Francisco Kino. He became the first non-Indian to visit the village of Wa:k, or "Bac," as he wrote it, and it was he who bestowed the patronage of San Francisco Xavier on this large village of O'odham or, as he called the natives, "Sobaipuris."
- Old Town Artisans. The 150 year old adobe building has 6 distinctive shops and galleries.
- The Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block encompasses an entire city block in historic downtown, and features original and traveling exhibitions focusing on Art of Latin America, Art of the American West, Modern and Contemporary Art and Asian Art
- The Center for Creative Photography, University of Arizona, is recognized as one of the world's finest academic art museums and study centers for the history of photography. The Center opened in 1975, following a meeting between the University President John Schaefer and Ansel Adams. Beginning with the archives of five living master photographers—Ansel Adams, Wynn Bullock, Harry Callahan, Aaron Siskind, and Frederick Sommer—the collection has grown to include 239 archival collections.
- The Tucson Botanical Gardens, a tranquil oasis in the heart of Tucson, strives to be recognized and respected as the best small public garden in America.
- DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun, What started as a small construction project in the 1950s developed into a 10-acre National Historic District designed and built by DeGrazia. Visitors are treated to view not only the art hung in the gallery, but the colorful grounds and sculptures surrounding the property.
- The Pima Air & Space Museum is the largest Air & Space Museum in the Western United States
- The mission of the Postal History Foundation is to promote an appreciation of stamp collecting and postal history through the preservation of philatelic collections
- Tohono Chul Park has been listed as one of the Ten Great Botanical Gardens in the world
- Tucson Presidio, We tell the Presidio story by reliving it! We bring Spanish Tucson alive with living history demonstartions, reenactments and special tours.

- Kartchner Caverns State Park - The Kartchner Caverns story is one of amazing discoveries...both past and present. Stand where the discoverers first entered the cave. Marvel at the strange and colorful formations.
- Colossal Cave -which is on National Register of Historic Places, has been inhabited by prehistoric peoples as well as train robbers.
- Saguaro National Park - This unique desert is home to the most recognizable cactus in the world, the majestic saguaro.
- Mt. Lemmon, A mountain resort area offering dining, lodging, shopping, camping, hiking, real estate and skiing just to name a few.
- Kitt Peak National Observatory - was selected as the site for a national observatory after a three-year survey involving more than 150 mountain sites across the United States.
- Whipple Observatory - The Fred Lawrence Whipple Observatory (FLWO) is the largest field installation of the Smithsonian Institution Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) outside Cambridge, MA.
- Nogales, Mexico - Just across the border from Nogales, Arizona, the two cities share the same name but the cultures have evolved separately. Fill your trip to Mexico with its traditions, wonderful shopping and great food.
